WORCESTER, MA— July 20, 2022—  Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) is hosting a “Super Saturday” registration event on Saturday, July 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Harrington Learning Center. The event will be held on QCC’s main campus at 670 West Boylston Street, Worcester.

QCC recognizes that many people in the community who want to pursue higher education also have jobs or family responsibilities that make it difficult to visit campus during the week. A “Super Saturday” event is a way to offer more opportunity to access higher education and the many services that QCC provides.

“Representatives from across the College will be on hand to make the enrollment process quick and easy,” said Dr. Lillian Ortiz, Vice-President of Strategic Enrollment Development and Student Engagement.

“Our goal is to remove as many barriers as possible to help our community to improve their lives through higher education at QCC,” Dr. Ortiz said.

Participants can apply to the college, talk to counselors, apply for financial aid, and register for classes all in one place in the Harrington Learning Center.

For those who can’t physically attend the event, please call 508-853-3200 and arrange a virtual enrollment session or access  QCC’s Admissions Events webpage to sign-up for the event.

While walk-ins are welcome to this event, registration is preferred, and those who register will receive a free QCC gift bag.

QCC is also hosting a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic during the Super Saturday event. The clinic is sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) and will be available for any interested parties. No appointment is needed, and no insurance is required. Participants who receive a vaccine or booster will receive a $25 gift card to Stop and Shop. The clinic will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the Super Saturday event.

“We are excited to be able to partner with the MDPH and bring this valuable resource to those in the community,” Dr. Ortiz said.
