Media Invite – Youth Standing Against Racism

WHAT: A webinar that brings together key stakeholders of the Massachusetts public higher education system to discuss the importance of standing against racism. Panelists will reinforce the concept of a Statewide Campus Community Building Day, in order to engage students, administrators, faculty and staff to foster a statewide culture of tolerance, equity, equality, and anti-racism, while calling on each of us to stand up against racial injustice. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the panelists through the designated Q&A sessions.
WHO: Panelists include: Massachusetts Commissioner of Higher Education Carlos E. Santiago; President of Quinsigamond Community College Luis G. Pedraja, Ph.D.; State Student Advisory Council Chair and Board of Higher Education Student Advisor Jorgo Gushi; Student Trustee Anna Johnson, Worcester State University; and Student Trustee Artie Kopellas, Bridgewater State University.
