WORCESTER, MA— June 7, 2021—Quinsigamond Community College is hosting a second Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for QCC faculty, staff and students, as well as those students, faculty and staff from Assumption University, Anna Maria College and Becker College. The Clinic will be held on Tuesday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at QCC’s Athletic Center, 670 West Boylston Street, Worcester.

“We have seen the positive impact in our community as more people become vaccinated,” said QCC President Luis G. Pedraja, Ph.D. “Getting vaccinated helps protect you and ensures our college community has a safe return to campus this fall. Together we can beat the COVID-19 virus and begin to work on healing from this global health crisis.”

QCC held its first vaccine clinic on May 11 and those vaccinated that day received an appointment time for their second vaccine on June 8.  Those who received their first Moderna vaccine at another location and would like to schedule a second vaccine at QCC, must register for an appointment online and meet the required timeframe requirements between vaccinations. Vaccinations are provided by appointment only. Visit QCC Moderna Vaccine Clinic to register today.

Members of these college communities interested in obtaining their first Moderna vaccine must also register online. The Clinic is sponsored by Albertson’s/Shaw’s/Osco.

For those looking to learn more about vaccines and the importance of being vaccinated, QCC offers an informational website that links to information about the vaccine in multiple languages, as well as vaccination locations.
