WORCESTER, MA—October 9, 2018— Quinsigamond Community College’s Veterans Club recently donated over 1,000 items to Veterans Inc. in Worcester, through its annual community-wide Hygiene Drive. The drive, in its fifth year at QCC, collects hygiene products for men and women that include bigger items such as towels and washcloths to hygiene staples for men and women. Veterans Inc. has various shelters for male and female veterans. All the shelters are located in the Worcester/Shrewsbury area.

QCC’s Director of Veteran Affairs, Paula Ogden, said the month-long event is something that the college’s staff and faculty have really gotten behind.

“The dental program donated toothpaste and toothbrushes,” Ms. Ogden said. “This was so successful because of everyone’s effort in the QCC community.”
