Worcester, MA – April 14, 2014 – The QCC Children’s School opened their annual children’s art exhibit with a reception for parents, family, friends, faculty and administration on Thursday, April 10 at the QCC Worcester location on West Boylston Street. Children’s School Administrators selected the date to celebrate the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NAEYC) Week of the Young Child from April 6 through 12.

The art was created by preschool children from the QCC Children’s School, ages 2 years, nine months to five years old. A variety of media and recyclable materials were used to create the art.

QCC’s Early Childhood Education program is one of only a few remaining programs nationwide with Children’s School “labs,” creating highly sought-after graduates in the Early Childhood profession.  The program recently celebrated its 40th anniversary while the College itself is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary with a variety of events scheduled to take place over a full year.

The exhibit is free and open to the public during business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) until May 9 in the Administration Building, Art Gallery Hall located at 670 West Boylston Street, Worcester.
