Quinsigamond Community College Receives $5,000 Donation from TJX for Student Scholarships

Worcester, Ma – Quinsigamond Community College has received a $5,000 donation from the TJX Foundation to support student scholarships.
The TJX Foundation focuses its charitable giving on programs that provide basic-need services to disadvantaged women, children and families. Thanks to TJX, the Quinsigamond Community Foundation will provide five $1,000 scholarships to underserved students who qualify for enrollment but do not have the financial resources to attend college. TJX, along with QCC, aims to assist students in breaking the cycle of poverty by providing life changing educational opportunities to enter or re-enter the workforce. Michael Wronski, QCC director of development and executive director of the QCC Foundation, received the donation from William Finneran, assistant general manager of the TJX Foundation.
