Quinsigamond Community College Trustees’ Citizen’s Award Honors Roland Gauthier

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Quinsigamond Community College Board Chairman Brent J. Andersen and College President Gail E. Carberry will present the QCC Trustees’ Citizen’s Award to local longtime QCC supporter, Roland A. Gauthier, at the College’s Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 22 at 4 p.m.

The Trustees’ Citizen’s Award is given by the Board of Trustees to acknowledge a significant contribution made by an individual or organization in advancing QCC.  Gauthier was appointed to the Board in 1998, serving as Chairman from 2003 to 2006. His years on the Board were marked by his leadership and guidance of important efforts that advanced the College.

In 2005 Gauthier was nominated for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Philanthropist of Distinction award. He remains the treasurer of the QCC Foundation and an active supporter of the College. QCC greatly values his contributions.

Gauthier is principal of Roland A. Gauthier, Certified Public Accountant of Spencer, which he founded in 1975. Gauthier will be present to accept his award at QCC’s commencement ceremony on May 22 at 4 p.m.
