QCC Presents Annual Honors Program Showcase

WORCESTER, Ma –   Quinsigamond Community College will hold its Annual Honors Program Showcase on Wednesday, May 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Herbert Auditorium Lobby.  The title of this years showcase is, “Eat the View: The Politics and Production of Food.”

Student post presentations will deal with topics ranging from mad cow disease, to athletes food choices, to the dietary habits of Brazilian tribes.

“Honors students have been working hard this semester, and they will use what they’ve learned to help raise our awareness of what goes in our food and in our bodies,” stated Susan McPherson, QCC assistant professor of English and an honors program coordinator.

The presentations are free and open to the public.
