Pinning Ceremony for QCC Radiologic Technology Program Graduates

WORCESTER, Mass.  –  Students who will be graduating from Quinsigamond Community College’s Radiologic Technology program this spring will be honored during a pinning ceremony formally recognizing those finishing the program.

The Rad Tech pinning ceremony will take place on Monday, May 21, at 7 p.m. in Quinsigamond’s Hebert Auditorium.

Students will wear their traditional uniform and be presented a special Rad Tech pin by the College to mark their achievement.  The pinning ceremony, which dates back to the 1800’s, also includes a symbolic candle lighting ceremony.

Graduates of QCC’s Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology are eligible to take the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registry Examination, which upon passing, signifies that they are Registered Technologists in Radiography.
