Media Services has a limited amount of laptops available to be used in conjunction with other audio-visual related purposes. If multiple laptops are needed for non-AV purposes you will want to sign out the laptop(s) from Help Desk instead.

For any locations that do not have a permanent computer installation available to use in conjunction with audio/visual equipment, Media Services can provide a laptop and conduct the setup of all equipment for you upon request.

If specific software is required, you will want to make note of that in the Additional Instructions field on our Online Media Services Request Form, as Media Services will likely need to work in conjunction with Help Desk to accomplish software installations.

All Media Services laptops currently run on the Windows 7 operating system and have Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox installed, in addition to VLC Player for playing uncommon video and audio files that the default Windows Media Player may not.
