What type of expenses/financial needs are allowable for HEERF funds?

Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) are currently able to be used by students with exceptional financial need for any component of a student's Cost of Attendance (tuition and fees, books and supplies, food, housing, utilities, health care, child care, and other related costs) or emergency expenses related to coronavirus.

HEERF for Tuition and Fee expenses will be considered for students with exceptional financial need who do not meet the eligibility criteria to receive federal financial aid funding.  Students who have already completed the 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid will be considered on a case-by-case basis if they have exceptional financial need.  If you are looking for assistance with your course costs, please email emergencygrant [at] qcc.mass.edu for assistance.
