March 27, 2020 - Transition to Remote Administration

As we all adjust to our new mode of remote instruction, we want to remind you of a few important dates.

  • All current online classes resumed their normal schedule this week. This includes seven-week courses (Spring II) that are 100% online.
  • All in- person classes will transition to remote instruction on Monday, March 30. This also includes all new, in-person seven-week courses.
  • Your professors have been working hard to convert their curriculum to remote instruction. They will be in touch with you soon via Qmail (if you haven't already heard from her/him) with more details regarding how they plan on teaching your courses. You can view your course schedule on The Q. Once there, log in by entering your user name and password. When you are logged in, you will see your Course Schedule. Click on View Details. This is where you will find all your current courses listed. Your professor's name is listed, and if you need to contact them you can simply click on the envelope next to your professor’s name to send her or him an email if you have questions or concerns.
  • VIP registration begins on Monday, March 30 for all current students. Due to remote service delivery all students are cleared to self-register. Academic Advising created a list of Frequently Asked Questions with more information.
  • Additional strategies such as facilitating access to internet and online services, Food Pantry, and other student support services will be adopted shortly. These services will be shared with you as they become available.

Please do not come to campus or any QCC location. While the College is providing remote services for the foreseeable future, assistance is available online and via phone and email.

Thank you for your patience, and for being a part of QCC.
