Are you struggling to find housing? Do you need financial assistance to pay your rent and/or utilities? Being evicted from your current residence? Join us for all your housing related needs at one of the following workshops or drop-in sessions. 

Not sure which to attend? Housing 101 workshops vs. drop-in sessions

During the housing 101 workshops and drop-in sessions, attendees will be able to have all of their housing related questions answered. During the workshops, individuals will be provided an overview of how to apply for both subsidized and fair market rate properties, how to locate financial assistance to address back rent and utility bills, how to access help when facing eviction, plus many other resources. During the drop-in sessions, individuals will address specific housing -related needs, receive assistance with specific housing applications, and review documentation needed for housing. Individuals will have the chance to register ahead of time for the drop-in sessions and determine if their housing needs would be best addressed in the workshop or in a drop-in session.

Cyanobacteria Monitoring Collaborative Research Project

The students were trained by the Lakes and Ponds Program to collect samples from Worcester water bodies, prepare slides, and identify cyanobacteria and other microscopic organisms that play a role in water quality.  The data they collect is useful to a local understanding of cyanobacteria and contributes to global research on the topic as well.
