Trauma Sensitive Classrooms

Students today are facing more and more social and emotional challenges that create barriers to learning and engagement. Participants will be taught how traumatic experiences can impact learning, and how to recognize these challenges in their students. Participants will be taught simple, easy to implement techniques that can create a sense of safety and belonging in the classroom. This will lead to better communication with students, improve student engagement and performance, and ultimately support QCC's goals of student retention and success.
