Micah Klayman

Micah Klayman

Mr. Klayman is an accomplished academic, labor relations subject matter expert and proud alumnus of Quinsigamond Community College. During his tenure as a student at QCC, Mr. Klayman spearheaded philanthropic efforts in partnership with the Worcester Public Library Bookmobile and led the local Alpha Zeta Theta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Klayman pursued his baccalaureate degree at Worcester State University in the communication field. While a student, Mr. Klayman was appointed to numerous leadership roles and engaged in student led activism towards policies for which he observed as neoliberal in nature. Embracing his roots in public education, Mr. Klayman then attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed a Master of Science in Labor Studies. During graduate school, Mr. Klayman conducted complex quantitative research and analyses for a variety of labor unions nationwide. Mr. Klayman was elected to the board in September of 2016 and is currently employed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in a labor relations role.
