1. How to get started with Early College Pathways at the High Schools

  • Set up a meeting with the Manager of Educational Partnerships to discuss options
  • Decide on Readiness activities, credit courses, course pathways, delivery model, and scheduling
  • Market/Recruit Early College Activities to students and parents
  • Schedule Parent Information Session
  • Schedule the Accuplacer Test
  • Complete student registration forms
  • Schedule QCC Orientation/Tour for students

4. Course Fees:

Early College students pay reduced tuition and fees to participate in the program. Students, Businesses, or the District may share the costs.

  • $100 per student/per course with the High School teacher approved by the Dean teaching the college course
  • $5,000 per course for 20 students or more ($250 per student) with QCC professors teaching the college course
