Athletics at QCC

Quinsigamond Community College, a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association, has a tradition of fielding regionally and nationally competitive sports teams in men's and women's basketball and baseball.

From 2001 to 2003, the QCC baseball team won the New England Junior College Baseball Championship, advancing to the NJCAA World Series each year. Additionally, QCC has had 8 former players selected in the Major League Amateur Draft.

In 2007, the men's basketball team won the Division III, Region 21 championship, advancing to the national tournament in Delhi, NY where the team defeated last the 2006 champs, North Lake College, 72-67. Read more about the 2006-2007 team.
