Experience-Based Education
Experience-based education recognizes that you may be able to earn college
credit for learning acquired through life experiences. The experience-based
education program provides opportunities to earn credit for prior learning.
Credit may be earned in a variety of ways including tutorials, directed
study, and portfolio assessment. Credit may also be awarded through
credentialing for certifications and trainings, such as the Fire Academy, EMT,
and military. QCC also collaborates with the
Worcester Center for Crafts
and the
Worcester Art Museum for the award of
credit.
Students interested in any of the experience-based education programs need to
contact the office and, in most cases, set up an appointment. Contact
