CLEP ExaminationCLEP examinations recognize knowledge you have acquired through life experience, which is consistent with college-level courses. The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) was developed to enable you to earn college credit by examination. Credit is awarded to students who achieve acceptable scores on the general CLEP battery and/or specific CLEP subject matter examinations. The general battery includes examinations in English, humanities, mathematics, and natural sciences/history. A maximum of 32 credits will be allowed if all general examinations are passed (Credit will be awarded to you if you score at or above the 50th percentile on the general exams, and/or in individual exams that relate to specific courses that are available at the college). A “CR” appears on your college transcript with the earned number of CLEP credits. There is no charge to have your credit put on the QCC transcript. Credit does not count toward residency requirement.
