Next Step

Enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year program.

The Business Administration Career Program prepares students to successfully enter the workforce upon graduation. The program provides a skills-based curriculum that equips students with the knowledge and background needed for a rewarding career in business and industry.

The Business Administration Career, Administrative Professional Option offers an associate's degree with a choice of two concentrations: medical office specialist or clerical office specialist. Graduates of the Administrative Professional Option are highly trained and workforce ready. The required co-op class gives students practical experience in their chosen field. Students should meet with their academic advisors to be sure they are selecting the correct courses for their concentration.

Students enrolled in the business administration option may select courses for a concentration that develops an area of specialty or interest. Students are encouraged to select a concentration but not required to do so. Any business course will fulfill the business elective requirement. It is important, however, to work with an advisor to select the courses that will be of most interest and benefit to you.
