Apply for Admission

The Admissions Office assists students in learning about the different certificate and associate degree programs that we offer. Additionally we assist students to apply to the college, either online or using the paper application.

Recommended documents:

  • Proof of high school graduation or equivalency: High school transcript that has a graduation date, high school diploma, GED, or HiSET

Apply for Financial Aid

Receive in person assistance from Financial Aid professionals. If you have already applied for financial aid you can:

  • Check your financial aid status
  • Obtain and submit missing documents
  • Review your award letter in detail
  • Receive guidance on appeals and special circumstances
  • Have access and assistance to computers to complete Direct Loan requirements
  • Receive assistance creating your FSA User ID

Recommended documents for FAFSA assistance:

  • Social Security Number for student and parent if dependent
  • Federal tax documents for student and parent if dependent
  • W2 forms
  • Citizenship documentation for non-citizens

Take a Placement Test

As a new student, before you can register for classes you must:

  • Prepare for the placement test BEFORE coming in for testing. Study tips and materials are available.
  • Take the Accuplacer Placement Test. This is a computerized test that helps determine the appropriate level to begin your mathematics and English courses.
  • Bring a current photo ID when you come to test. If you are under 18, you will need a parent or guardian with you at check-in.
  • If you need accommodations for testing, please contact our Disabilities Services Office at 508.854.4471 BEFORE coming in for testing.

Register for Classes

Academic Advising can guide you and help you align your academic and career goals.

We can assist you with interpreting your placement test scores, selecting and registering for classes, reviewing your Academic Standing, and running your Degree Audit.

Recommended documents for Advising assistance:

  • Your QCC student ID number.
  • Verify that you do not have a HOLD on your account BEFORE you can register for classes. You can check your status in The Q or by calling our Business Office at 508.854.4560
  • A copy of your unofficial college transcript if you are new to QCC and/or recently completed college classes elsewhere
