Testing at QCC

Welcome to Testing at QCC! 

Our goal is to provide the best testing, assessment, and placement experience for you so that you may succeed. For all tests, studying is important.  Please make sure you are prepared before you take any test. Please note: For all testing, you will need to present a photo ID.

We are happy to provide a variety of tests to meet the needs of our students. See below for more information regarding specific tests.

QCC designated as Early College site for Southbridge Public Schools

WORCESTER, MA – April 18, 2024 – Quinsigamond Community College was recently given designation as an Early College site for Southbridge Public Schools by the Joint Committee of the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education and Board of Higher Education. The program will start in the fall of 2024 and include approximately 100 juniors and seniors from Southbridge High School.

QCC offers free tax return assistance through VITA program

WORCESTER, MA – March 25, 2024 – Quinsigamond Community College is once again offering free tax assistance through the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Certified volunteers and trained QCC students will assist with preparing tax returns for people who make $60,000 or less and people with limited English language skills. The VITA program provides services primarily at the Main South Community Development Corporation and also offers workshops at QCC’s main campus in Worcester and the QCC at Southbridge location.

Quinsigamond Community College receives grant for emergency response device

WORCESTER, MA – March 11, 2024– Quinsigamond Community College recently received a grant from the Healey-Driscoll Administration to purchase an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) for one of the college’s security patrol vehicles. QCC was one of 80 Massachusetts municipalities, public colleges and universities, and nonprofits chosen to receive part of $165,000 in grant funding for AEDs to be placed in emergency response vehicles.

Quinsigamond Community College forms Workforce Advisory Council to align with workforce needs

WORCESTER, MA – February 8, 2023 – On Friday, February 9, Quinsigamond Community College will hold the inaugural meeting of its newly formed Workforce Advisory Council. The council will be co-chaired by Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives President and CEO Jon Weaver and comprised of representatives from leading regional employers.

QCC welcomes Siggy, its first community resource dog

WORCESTER, MA— February 5, 2024— Quinsigamond Community College Campus Police started the new year off with the college’s first-ever community resource dog. Siggy, a four-month-old English Cream Golden Retriever, is already making his presence known on campus. He will be sworn in as an official campus police dog once he completes rigorous training, making him the first of his kind at a Worcester college or university.

Quinsigamond Community College’s new police chief is sworn-in

WORCESTER, MA— February 2, 2024 — Quinsigamond Community College held a ceremony on Friday morning February 2, to swear in its new Police Chief, Stephen D. DiGiovanni.

“Steve’s exemplary education, knowledge and police work make him the perfect person to fill some big shoes and ensure the continued safety of our students, faculty and staff,” said QCC President Dr. Luis Pedraja.

QCC student finds community and more with Veteran Affairs Office

WORCESTER, MA— January 30, 2024 — Taking the plunge into higher education after 50 years out of school may not be for the faint of heart, but for Quinsigamond Community College student and veteran Tom Vincent, the support of QCC’s Veteran Affairs department has made all the difference in his confidence and academic success.
