Ronald E. Josephson Electronics Lab

On September 6, QCC was honored to dedicate the Electronics Lab in its new QuEST Center in memory of Ron Josephson. QCC President Gail Carberry and QCC Foundation President Laurance S. Morrison presented Ron's wife Linda with a special plaque and room dedication. 

Jacqueline C. Diggs, QCC Foundation, Vice President, James Heffernan, Professor of Electromechanical Technology and Dr. Lillian Ortiz, Vice President of Student Engagement, Enrollment, and Community Connections all shared their thoughts and memories of Ron throughout the program. 

A college Trustee, and member of the QCC Foundation Board, Mr. Josephson was a 1970 graduate of QCC. Selected as the “Alumnus of the Year” in 1989, Ron was President and CEO of Power Guide Marketing, a local company that sells power supplies, power systems, and all associated products. Prior to beginning his own business, Mr. Josephson worked for Raytheon, where he had designs on the Aegis Shipboard weapons system, Patriot Missile systems and a program that flew on Apollo, among others. Mr. Josephson has been involved in demonstrating Radar Systems to NATO at White Sands Missile Range. He later worked at Digital Equipment Corporation and Preferred Electronics in senior management positions. Mr. Josephson was also a member of the College’s Board of Trustees.
