Worcester, MA – February 22, 2012 -- Quinsigamond Community College is offering a $5000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for a bomb threat that occurred on Thursday, February 16.

A note was found Thursday evening in the Administration Building at the QCC main campus on 670 West Boylston Street, which included a threat to bomb the campus. QCC officials acted immediately to close all QCC locations for college and administrative activities on Friday.  A thorough search was conducted of all buildings by Campus and MA State Police and deemed safe to re-open on Saturday, February 18.

Campus and MA State Police are continuing the investigation. The MA State Fire Marshall’s Office is offering the reward to anyone who comes forward with information regarding the threat – specifically students who may have witnessed any unusual activity - by calling 508.854.4221 or 800.682.9229. Witnesses with information can remain anonymous if they wish.
