QCC Students Organize “Walk, Run, or Roll” for a Cure

On Friday, November 6, rain or shine, students from the Quinsigamond Community College psychology club and Psi Beta Psychology National Honor Society will host a college and community-wide 5k “Walk, Run, or Ro
ll” event to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The event will be held at 2 pm on the QCC track. Interested participants can register and receive donation ma terials by contacting Sandra England of the QCC faculty at sengland [at] qcc.mass.edu or 508-754-7411. This year, the event is reaching down to Bridgewater State College, where 2009 QCC graduate Stephanie Morgan, who organized the event at QCC last year, has put together a parallel walk at Bridgewater. QCC welcomes additional local college students and groups to take part in their fight against cancer. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society to fund their programs of research, education, advocacy, and patience service
