Anna Maria College and Quinsigamond Community College Join Forces to Benefit Transfer Students in Fire Science

Paxton, MA (DATE ) – Anna Maria College and Quinsigamond Community College announce that they have entered into an articulation agreement to streamline the process for students studying fire science.

Beginning with the fall 2010 semester, QCC graduates with an Associate’s Degree in fire science and who meet AMC’s admissions standards will be able to transfer directly into AMC’s Bachelor of Science in Fire Science program. Transfer students must have a minimum GPA of 2.3 and can transfer 60 credits towards their bachelor’s degree at Anna Maria College. Students must have a grade of C or better in the specific course for the course to transfer.

AMC also has articulation agreements with QCC for students studying business and criminal justice, and offers all QCC graduates, who meet admissions standards, a $1,000AMC/QCC Partnership Grant to continue their education at Anna Maria College. In addition to the $1,000 Partnership Grant, QCC students are eligible to receive AMC’s merit award and other need-based financial aid.

Carberry. “We are always seeking additional leading educational programming for our students, and with thanks to AMC, now they can take a seamless route to an Anna Maria Bachelor’s degree in fire science.”
