Worcester, Ma – Quinsigamond Community College, with EMC Corporation and VMware, will hold a Storage and Virtualization Seminar on Friday, February 5 at 9 a.m. on its Worcester campus.
QCC holds unique partnerships with both companies. EMC has been a partner with QCC through its Computer Systems Engineering Technology (CSET) program. The EMC Information Storage and Management class and certification assists QCC students in gaining vital information infrastructure skills needed by businesses today.
Added Betty Lauer, QCC coordinator of the CSET program and the seminar facilitator, “EMC has been great for QCC. Furthermore, the virtualization courses available through the VMware IT Academy Program are an amazing complement to the EMC course. Both companies are helping QCC students to become world-class IT professionals.”
With the IT industry being re-shaped by complexity of data management, there is a growing need for IT professionals to have information storage and virtualization skills.
