WORCESTER, Ma – Quinsigamond Community College is hosting its tenth annual spelling bee on Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in Hebert Auditorium on campus.
This lively and fun community event will bring twenty-four teams to QCC from a number of area colleges and businesses, including UNUMProvident, Worcester Consortium, Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester Publishing, and the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. Digital Federal Credit Union, United Parcel Service, and Mechanics Hall are sponsoring teams as well. Come join our official guest judges and watch as teams vie to be Worcester’s best spellers. Watch the 2007 defending champions from QCC attempt to defend their title!
The spelling bee is again sponsored by the Telegram & Gazette, with all proceeds going to support student scholarships at QCC. Admission to the event as a spectator is FREE and refreshments are included.
