QCC Announces Presidential Scholarship Winners

WORCESTER – At its tenth annual Foundation Golf Classic, Quinsigamond Community College announced the winners of its QCC Foundation Scholarships for 2007.

Stephanie Mero (Human Services)

The 2007 Golf Classic raised over $25,000 for QCC scholarships. Criteria for the QCC Foundation Scholarship includes financial need, excellent academic record, and submission of a completed essay. The essay must include comments on how a QCC scholarship would be useful to the student, cite examples of personal and/or academic successes, and describe why the student chose to attend QCC.

“We are incredibly proud of our Foundation Scholarship winners,” stated Dr. Gail Carberry, President of QCC. “These students have worked hard in the classroom and community, and it’s wonderful to see the benefits that our College can provide through these scholarships.”
