“Yesterday’s Paper” Art Show at QCC on July 17

WORCESTER –   The Quinsigamond Community College/ARTSWorcester Art Gallery opens a new exhibit on Tuesday, July 17 with a display of photographs by Jim Collins.  His collection, titled, “Yesterday’s Paper,” will be on display through August 24 at the QCC Administration Building Corridor Art Gallery, at 670 West Boylston Street.

The public is invited to attend the opening night reception on July 17 starting at 6 p.m. in Conference Room 123A. A gallery walk with the artist will be held from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Admission is always free, and regular viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7pm., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

Jim Collins has been making art, news, and documentary photographs for thirty-five years.  He studied photography at the California Institute of the Arts, and is currently a staff photographer at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.
