WORCESTER, Mass. – Quinsigamond Community College President Gail Carberry will present the QCC Trustees’ Citizen Award to local dentists Dr. John Gusha, Dr. Bruce Fields, and Dr. Charles Maloney at the College’s Commencement Ceremony on May 24 at 4 p.m.

The Trustees’ Citizen Award is given by the Board of Trustees to acknowledge a significant contribution made by an individual or organization in advancing QCC.

Dr. Gusha, Dr. Fields, and Dr. Maloney have been key supporters in the expansion of the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting Program at Quinsigamond.   The three have been integral liaisons between QCC, the Worcester community, Worcester District Dental Society, and the Massachusetts Dental Society, and are dedicated to serving both QCC students and the College’s dental programs.  Equally important, through their combined efforts, the barriers to dental care for all in the Worcester community have decreased.

“The Trustees Citizen’s Award is a wonderful honor,” stated Dr. Field, speaking on behalf of his colleagues. “Working for the past number of years with the staff and administration of QCC has always been a pleasure.”

Gusha, Fields, and Maloney will be present at QCC’s commencement ceremony on  May 24 at 4 p.m. to accept their award.
