WORCESTER, Mass.  –  Students who will be graduating from Quinsigamond Community College’s Nurse Education program this spring will be honored during a pinning ceremony to formally recognize those finishing the program.

The Associates Degree in Nursing pinning ceremony will take place on Friday, May 18 at 6 p.m. in Quinsigamond’s Hebert Auditorium.

Students will wear the traditional white nursing uniform and be presented a special pin by the College to mark their achievement.  The pinning ceremony, which dates back to the 1800’s, also includes a symbolic candle lighting ceremony to remind the students to carry out the ideals of the nursing tradition.
