QCC Leadership Academy
The academy will provide students with an interactive and comprehensive leadership experience that develops student leaders.
QLA is open to ALL QCC students who wish to:
- Develop or enhance leadership skills,
- Receive recognition for balancing a healthy work and school,
- Receive service hours for volunteering in your community, and
- Receive recognition for being or wanting to be a student leader
Each semester there will be a new QLA theme.
Spring 2023 Theme
Learn to Lead: everyday leaders share their stories and what they've learned along the way.
Tuesdays from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, leaders from QCC will share their stories of becoming a leader and provide advice on how to reach your leadership potential.
The Learn to Lead series will be advertised on Wyvern Connect: Student Life Portal and will include the guest speaker, date, and location [because the location will rotate depending on the date].
The workshops will be open to the entire QCC community, but QLA members will be invited to RSVP.
