Attorney Vega is currently admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He currently serves as an Assistant City Solicitor in the City of Worcester Law Department, Litigation Division, where he has litigated both affirmative and defensive actions on behalf of the city, its department heads and other employees. Prior to his current role, Attorney Vega served as an Assistant District Attorney, Central District Court Unit, in the Worcester County District Attorney's Office for three years, where he prosecuted numerous felony and misdemeanor offenses. Attorney Vega has also taught courses in Terrorism & Homeland Security, as well as Evidence & Courtroom Procedure, for the past six years as an adjunct faculty member at QCC. Attorney Vega's other community engagements include leadership appointments to the Worcester County Bar Association Municipal Law Section, the City of Worcester Manager's Coalition Against Bias and Hate, and the Worcester Youth Center, Inc. Board of Directors. He has also been active in youth mentoring programs, and appears frequently as a guest speaker and presenter in local youth development programs. Attorney Vega became a member of the QCC Foundation Board of Directors in January of 2016.
