Early Childhood Education Associate Degree: FastTrack Option

The FastTrack Early Childhood Education (Career Option) at Quinsigamond Community College for adults working in early childhood settings consists of a sequence of 5 week courses that meet one night a week and a study group or challenge team that meets on a weekly basis. Once accepted into the FastTrack program a student will be able to complete three courses each semester, while working fulltime. Students who have transferable college credit may apply their credits, if applicable to the program. When a student completes the entire program in good standing, he/she will be qualified as a lead teacher in an early childhood education programs. Some students do transfer to a four year program upon completion of this degree.

A Criminal Offenders Record Information (CORI) and Sexual Offenders Record Information (SORI) check is required of all students enrolled in the program. Students with a felony conviction may not be able to attend community facilities for fieldwork assignments and so would be unable to complete the program.
