Technical Performance Standards:
CORI, SORI, Finger Printing & Drug Testing:
Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) checks are required of all students accepted into the program. Students should be aware that a court record may prevent them from certification for EMT-Basic or the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Finger printing may be required and drug testing will be required. All students must submit evidence of a positive Hepatitis B titer to be admitted to the program. To qualify for this course, the candidate must hold a current Massachusetts driver's license, and possess a Health Care Provider CPR card. A completed health form is also required.
