The QCC application process is quick, simple, and free. All students who apply to QCC and provide proof of high school graduation or equivalent are accepted to the College. Take the next step toward your goals and apply today!
Steps to Apply
If you are a U.S. student, follow these steps to complete the application process.
Complete the Application
Step 1
Have all of your information ready to apply for a certificate or degree program. Complete the application and wait for an e-mail from QCC that confirms your acceptance. Submit your application with your program of choice including your personal email address. You will receive an email within 2 business days notifying you of any additional documents to be submitted. Once we have all documents your application will be processed and upon acceptance to a program you will receive an email to your personal email address and a letter to your mailing address.

Step 2
Upload one of the following documents to the Admission Document Center.
- High School Transcript (most preferred)
- GED or HiSET Transcript/Scores (most preferred)
- High School Diploma
- GED or HiSET Certificate
Complete the FAFSA
Step 3
Fill out the FAFSA to be considered for financial aid and scholarships. The majority of our students are eligible for financial aid – don’t miss this opportunity to reduce the costs of your education.

Once you’ve officially been accepted, these are the next steps to complete your enrollment.
Register for Classes
As a new student, you’ll receive an e-mail from the Academic Advising Office with your personal enrollment steps that discuss course placement and registration. Classes fill up quickly, so don’t wait to talk to your advisor!
Attend Orientation
All new students must complete orientation before classes start. Our orientation will help you get acquainted with the campus and the tools and resources you will need to be successful at QCC.
Earn Credit for Prior Learning
Find out if your work, life, volunteer, or military experience qualifies for college credit. Prior learning credit can save you time and money by reducing the number of classes you need to take. Learn more and apply for prior learning credit today!
